Long time no see

I keep having no time to blog, so setting one up was a silly idea really. This week I've been busy packing up my room, working and having fun - for once. Its been a very expensive week too. I paid my first months rent, went on a shopping spree, bought tickets to see Bob Dylan in Manchester and other bits & pieces. As per, I took pictures of just about everything that I did..so heres what I've been up to & what I've eaten/bought.

A week ago on Saturday me & Tarina went to our Emma & Alice's flat for their leaving party. It was an alright night. I was too tired to have fun but it was still good just having a drink & seeing people that I hadn't seen in a long long time. This is me and Tarina having a little break from the 'party' to take pictures, as you do.

The next night when I finished work, me and Alex had a drink then when Tarina finished we went on a drive. We ended up getting a McDonalds then Loz and Fergie pulled up and we decided we would go and find a nice field to sit in and have a fire. We found a lovely place on a lake in Ebchester. It was lush! We stayed for a couple of hours then decided to call it a night since it was freezing!

Then I went shopping with Becky, then met with Kitty & Sean in town. We went for a Pizza Hut & got a 10" pizza, unlimited salad, potato wedges and a refillable drink for £5. Such a good deal, I'm gonna do it again next time I'm wanting a meal in town.

I treat my self to too many things really, got a big load in Primark but it was mainly underwear and pj's so I'm not gonna post loads of pictures of them. I recently sold my trusty Hunter wellies on eBay though, and since English weather is so terrible I desperatly needed some more. I saw these Joules ones when I was working on that depatment at work one day. I had a £15 Fenwick voucher so I got these for just £20! They're ideal for me because they've got the adjustable bit which my Hunters didn't so I can get thick socks in now, and I think the pattern is really cute too.

I also got this nice photo frame. Since I'm moving so far away from my friends and family (and all society) I want to fill my room with photographs and nice frames for them to go in. This one was only £5. I'm not crazy on the colour but it'll certainly do!

My dads girlfriend donated this mirror to me. Its pretty much exactly the same as the one in the living room at my new house. Hoping this will go nice in my room if I can spray it white!

I'd been after this bedding for a long time so when I saw it reduced in Ikea I nearly had a fit because its really rare that they have a whole range of something on sale! Turns out they only had single or kingsize, and since my bed is a double this didn't really work for me. I still bought both anyway though because it was only £7.50 & I love it. I bought the quilt of it aswell which was a bit more expensive at £35, but it'll last me forever so I class it as a good purchase!

Couldn't help but go into HMV and purchase a load of DVD's. Got Never Say Never which was necessary since Justin Bieber is my favorite man on earth! Then I got Jackass 3 because its the funniest/sickest ever. I've already sat and watched it 3 times! Then I treat myself to a handful of £3 DVDs. Can't go wrong for that price. Walk the Line, which is amazing, Benjamin Button, which creeps me out, Pretty Woman, which I need to see the whole way through & Night at the Museum because it was £2, though I realise it has really poor ratings.

My dad has sorted out the garden so we now have a set of table and chairs with a parasol & a log burner, so most nights I'll just sit out there if its nice and I can have a smoke and its nice & peaceful.. until my brother and all his friends come around. They're all dead canny though, so it could be worse I guess. Heres Tarina and my brother getting a little too close for comfort...

Then I had Olly making me my favorite drink (cherry sourz & diet coke) in my favorite glass! The crushed ice doesn't look too appealing, but it was tasty I promise.

Then I remembered about the Face Swap App on my phone. This is my brother and his friend Ben, they look hilarious, but I guess its not that funny if you don't know what they look like normally...so yeah.

Had a big shooping spree..it was actually too big, I can't bring myself to look at my bank balance yet! I'll take you through what I got:
  • Topshop - American Flag jumper by Tea & Cake, Aztec bold print vest, black buttoned tshirt, grey AA-style hoodie, semi-precious stone ring, anchor earrings.
  • Primark - brown loafers, blue print oversized scarf, distressed denim shorts, floral pyjama playsuit.
  • River Island - gold boyfriend watch, Pretty Polly suspender tights.
Plus a few other things that aren't on the below picture, mainly just little bits & pieces of make-up, jewelly etc.

I got my first tattoo! I got it done by my friend Emma who is a really talented tattooist at Arthur T Sharpes in Heaton. I got 'Against all odds." on my forearm, just underneath my elbow crease. I'm really happy with it! The meaning behind it is that it was my mams favourite song, and I can't listen to it without thinking about her. I tend not to listen to it because it makes me so upset, but it still means a lot to me.

Tarina got a tattoo aswell. She got hearts on the back of her ankles, they're really cute but bled so so much!

Here mine is, sorry its upside down! Its still scabby and swollen at this point but you get the idea!

Here is me being a freak and talking into a banana...not too sue why this is here but it is now.

Me & Tarina got a Chinese takeaway on Saturday night and we asked for a spring roll...this is the monster that turned up! Needless to say we didn't eat it, we didn't even touch it. It looks so rotten!

& here's what I got in my fortune cookie...we'll see how true this proves to be.

And finally...packing up my room :( I'm so sad to be leaving Ryton. Everyone I know and everything I do is here! Consett is soo far away! Really hope everyone still comes to see me!

That was a long one, I'll try not to leave it so long until next time. Adios x
